I'm a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University. I defended my dissertation at Leiden University in 2025. As a historian, I apply computational techniques to study parliaments, the internet, newspapers, and more. My research interests include political history, cultural evolution, conceptual history, and computational text analysis. Past projects have focused on the history of nationalism, iconic images, and conceptual change in digitized newspapers.
